Fridley Women of Today has proudly been hosting a food drive to celebrate Make A Difference Day for the past 16 years. All donations collected are given directly to our local food shelf, SACA (Southern Anoka County Assistance). SACA serves an average of 1,400 in-crisis families (an average of 3,400 people), giving out almost 58,000 pounds of food monthly and these numbers have been rapidly increasing during the last few years. Any kind of donation you make, big or small, food, household, personal items or monetary, it all makes a BIG impact for someone. And for every dollar donated, SACA can distribute about 10 pounds of food to our neighbors in need. More about SACA and their important work can be found at SACAFOODSHELF.ORG
If you would like to help out,
you can drop off your
donations at the
Fridley Historical Society
on Saturday, October 28th.
Fridley Women of Today volunteers will be there from
11am until 4pm
collecting your donations.
All items collected will be
given directly to SACA.
Thank you for your kind generosity.
We truly appreciate it but the
recipients who receive your
donations will appreciate it
even more!!
The Fridley Historical Society is
located at 611 Mississippi Street,
next to Hayes Elementary School.
